Cocoa Dolce, the popular Wichita chocolate maker has announced they will be moving their production facility to the former Coleman factory in Old Town.
The new facility at 235 N. St. Francis is being remodeled to include 20,000 square feet of production space, compared to their northeast Wichita facility, which currently has around 7,000 square feet. The 90 year old building is currently undergoing remodeling.
In a news release, Cocoa Dolce says the new facility will include an interactive retail space with a glass wall that overlooks the production area, a dedicated research and development test kitchen and corporate staff offices. The building will house 25 employees with potential for adding additional employees.
The new facility is expected to be open some time this summer.
