MDsave and Ascension Via Christi are teaming up to offer people with no insurance or high deductible insurance access to elective medical procedures. By purchasing a voucher for services, patients will receive a 40-60% discount on services such as bariatric surgeries, colonoscopies, hernia repairs, diagnostic imaging, and physical and occupational therapies. Through the program, patients pre-purchase a voucher from MDsave, which in most cases will include all fees for the hospital, physician, and anesthesia. Sleep studies, cardiac imaging, and other procedures, such as labor and delivery could be added in the future.
