56-year-old Zachary Ritchey of Wellington has been identified as the man killed in an industrial accident near Clonmel Wednesday afternoon.
It happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. at Younger and Sons Manufacturing Incorporated, located along K-42 near 183rd Street West. The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office says Ritchey became pinned in a large piece of machinery he was working on.
He was pronounced dead a few minutes later. Ritchey did not work for the Younger and Sons, but was employed by the company the does maintenance for the machines at Younger and Sons.
