Cuffs vs Axes charity boxing match this Saturday

This is the third year for the Cuffs vs Axes charity boxing championship and organizers say the event is growing.

Honore Adversis, the Wichita Firefighters Charitable Fund and Villa Boxing Club partnered with Wichita Railway Services to get this event together. Ticket sales will support these groups that help support first responders. The Villa Boxing Club will also get help with its delinquency prevention program.

Local first responders will be competing against each other in Olympic-style matches.

The Cuffs vs Axes event is this Saturday, November 9, at the Wichita Sports Forum. There are several ticket options and since it’s attached to Aviate there is also an option for kids.

  • $20 General Admission (plus processing) online in advance or $25 at the door. There will be **NO** assigned seating for General Admission.
  • $85 VIP tickets to the Heroes Loft (plus processing) online in advance or $100 at the door. This ticket includes food and (6) Drink Tickets.
  • $25 Cuffs vs. Axes Aviate Kid Package (plus processing). Cuffs vs. Axes is a family friendly environment . This package includes jump time for the duration of the Classic, two slices of pizza and a bottled water.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the first bell is set for 6 p.m. This year’s event features 11 bouts.
