The Wichita rescue group Beauties and Beasts, Inc reports a puppy has died after being found inside a garbage bag that was placed inside a plastic tub.
The puppy was found Wednesday night next to the trash outside a Family Dollar store at 13th and Oliver. The puppy was freezing and emaciated, and efforts to save it were unsuccessful. In a post on its Facebook page, the group said the puppy had an initial temperature of 80 degrees, and it was raised to 95, but that wasn’t enough.
Anyone with information is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
