A Wichita man has been sentenced to 30 months in prison after pleading guilty in federal court earlier this year to robbing a bank.
21-year-old Jeremy Vos was sentenced today in connection to the robbery of the Intrust Bank branch inside of the Dillons at Harry and Edgemoor. In his plea, he admitted to walking up to a teller at the branch on July 23, 2019 and handing a note over that read “This is a robbery. No (dye) bags. I have a gun.”
Vos had also made a false 911 call to try to draw police away from the bank before robbery. He was arrested shortly afterward.
