The Greater Wichita YMCA has announced a plan to reopen all of its ten branches on Monday, May 18th.
YMCA president Ronn McMahon said the branches will be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Facilities will be available to Y members 13 and older.
Initial offerings will include cardio equipment, weights, personal and small-group training, and there will be select group exercise classes available to everyone. The select group events will be held outside, weather permitting.
Enrollment is open for Early Learning Centers, and the East and South centers will be open May 18th. Summer Camp enrollment will resume online Wednesday and the camp begins June 1st. Summer Youth Sports enrollment will resume soon, with the season starting in June.
The Y is also making changes to its policies and procedures, and members are encouraged to check the Greater Wichita YMCA web site for more information. Membership fees will resume on Monday, June 15th.
