A Wichita man has appeared in court to face charges for the attempted kidnapping of a 10-year-old boy.
62-year-old Webb Ketchercide is charged with kidnapping and aggravated indecent liberties with a child. His bond was set at $75,000.
Ketchercide is accused of grabbing a boy by the arm on July 19th near Kellogg and Broadway. Police said he made sexually explicit comments to the boy during the confrontation. The boy was able to break free and run to a Quik Trip store to call for help, and he only had minor injuries.
