Wichita fire crews were dealing with a large grass fire in the northwest part of the city.
The fire was reported around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 3600 block of North West Street.
The fire put out a great deal of smoke and covered a large area along the Big Ditch west of the interchange of K-96 and Meridian. WICHway traffic cameras captured the smoke.
There were no reports of any homes or structures being threatened, and no injuries were reported.
