An unidentified man was found in the back of a burning home in south Wichita Thursday morning.
The fire was reported around 9:15 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Ida. Crews found someone in the front yard who said a man was trapped inside the home. Rescuers got him out and took him to a hospital burn unit with serious injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
