Police are investigating the death of a man that followed a fight on New Years Eve.
Police said 26-year-old Sharod Rollen was found dead in an apartment in the 1000 block of East Woodlawn on Saturday. Officers found that Rollen and several friends went out to a party on New Year’s Eve, and when they returned to the apartment, Rollen got involved in a fight. During the fight, Rollen fell to the ground and lost consciousness. An autopsy found that he had internal head trauma.
Police are investigating the death as a manslaughter case. No arrests have been made at this time.
