Investigators are looking into a south Wichita fire that left at least two homes with damage.
The fire was reported around 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of South Market. Flames were coming from a vacant home and then spread to a neighboring home that was occupied. The fire was brought under control and no injuries were reported.

Four people escaped from a burning home in east Wichita late Monday night. The fire was reported around 10 p.m. in the 600 block of North Pinecrest, near Central and Oliver, and crews saw smoke coming from a back bedroom.
No one was hurt. The fire caused an estimated $40,000 in damage, and investigators have been looking into the cause.
