The Ascension Via Christi Emergency Department in Wellington was officially opened on Monday, March 15th.
The new full-service ER takes up 9,850 square feet within the former hospital at 1323 North A Street. The remodeled facility is owned by the City of Wellington, and features diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, laboratory, our exam rooms and triage area.
It will be open 24/7 and will be operated as a department of Ascension Via Christi Hospitals Wichita.
The former hospital’s main entrance will be the single point of entry for all patients aside from those arriving via EMS.
