Two people were hurt in a shooting Tuesday morning at a south Wichita liquor store.
The shooting was reported around 9 a.m. in the 1600 block of East Pawnee. Police said a teenage girl was taken to a hospital with several gunshot wounds and she was in serious condition. Another girl had minor injuries after the car she was driving ran into the liquor store.
Police said the girls got into an argument with people in another car, and shots were fired, causing the car to crash into the liquor store.
Traffic was blocked west of Hydraulic on Pawnee.
Wichita Police later arrested a 19 year old woman and a 19 year old man in connection to the shooting on charges of aggravated battery and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
