Two people were killed in a motorcycle crash late Friday night in southwest Wichita.
The accident happened around 11:45 p.m. near Pawnee and Meridian. Police said a motorcycle carrying two people was heading southbound when the driver drifted into the northbound lanes and hit an SUV. Both people on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the two victims were a man in his 60’s and a woman in her 50’s. It was reported that neither of them were wearing helmets.
Investigators are still looking into the cause of the crash.
