The Butler County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who was killed in a weekend accident involving a vehicle and a bicycle.
Deputies said 71-year-old George Hanson of Andover died after the accident at 7:30 a.m. on September 25th near 21st and Andover road. Hanson was riding east on 21st when he was struck from behind by a car driven by a 33-year-old Andover woman.
Deputies said a lack of visibility from the morning sun is believed to be a factor in the accident.
