The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said a woman who was found dead on a rural roadway had apparently died of a drug overdose. A statement released Monday said this was a preliminary indication and the Coroner’s Office will determine the official cause of death.
A 26-year-old woman was found early on the morning of September 23rd in the 9200 block of East 69th Street North. She was later identified as Karlie Bidwell of Fort Scott, Kansas.
Detectives are still investigating her death.
