A Wichita man has been charged with first degree murder for a shooting that killed one man and injured two other people.
19-year-old Teviaun Sebastian made his first appearance in court Wednesday. He is also charged with attempted first degree murder, aggravated battery and criminal discharge of a firearm.
Police said 66-year-old Greg Cummings was killed and a 37-year-old man was injured in a shooting September 24th in the 900 block of South Mission, east of the intersection of Lincoln and Woodlawn. A five-year-old boy was treated for a graze wound.
Sebastian was arrested by police in the 1000 block of South Woodlawn shortly after the shooting, and officers recovered two handguns.
