The Sedgwick County Developmental Disability Organization and Project SEARCH sites in Wichita, Maize and Derby will be hosting their Virtual Reverse Job Fair from April 1st through May 15th. The fair connects employers with candidates who thrive in typically high-turnover, entry level positions.
Interested employers can register at www.scprojectsearch.com/reverse-job-fair-registration.
The Project SEARCH program prepares interns with intellectual/developmental disabilities for competitive employment. At the end of each program cycle, interns have the opportunity to pitch themselves to potential employers through a Reverse Job Fair. The Reverse Job Fair has gone virtual due to the pandemic.
Each intern has prepared a video resume that showcases their skills in action as well as interviews with their supervisors. Interested employers can set up an interview online through the event.
