The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of a man found after a fire at a mobile home in the southwest part of the state.

The fire was reported around 12:30 p.m. on May 5th.   Gray County sheriff’s deputies and fire department crews were called to a home in Cimarron.   When a fire was put out, the body of 52-year-old Jose Pulido was found.   An autopsy determined that Pulido died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but the KBI is continuing the investigation in cooperation with Gray County officials and the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
