The Kansas Humane Society is asking for help after reaching its maximum capacity for dogs and cats.
More than 360 cats and 200 dogs are currently being housed. Not all of these animals are available for adoption though.
If you would like to help out, the Kansas Humane Society has a few ways for you to lend a hand. Along with adopting an animal, you can also foster a dog or cat until a permanent home can be found. This helps free up shelter space. Volunteers are also needed to help care for animals and help with day-to-day operations.
Monetary donations can also be made to help out.
See the Kansas Humane Society’s post below for links to different ways to help out.
