A former assistant coach for the Kansas City Chiefs has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a crash in 2021.

Britt Reid pleaded guilty Monday to driving while intoxicated, resulting in serious physical injury.   The charges are from a February, 2021 crash where his truck hit two parked cars on an interstate ramp near Arrowhead Stadium.   The crash injured six people, including Reid and a five-year-old girl who was left with a traumatic brain injury.

Under a plea agreement, Reid could face a sentence ranging from probation to four years in prison.   He is the son of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
