The pedestrian killed in a south Wichita crash is identified as 45-year-old Kristopher Lacy, of Wichita.
Officers were called to the crash, just north of Seneca and Pawnee, around 7:50 Tuesday night. According to police, Lacy was hit while crossing from the east side of Seneca to
the west side of Seneca on Haskell. The driver that hit Lacy was in a black, 2009 Nissan Altima headed north. Lacy was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Police report this is the 37th traffic fatality this year.
