The second suspect in the disappearance and murder of a Wichita man has now been formally charged.  31-year-old Saul Valenciana was arrested Thursday after a standoff at an apartment near Harry and Edgemoor in southeast Wichita.

Valenciana appeared in court Friday to face charges of first degree murder, burglary, and a misdemeanor count of theft.   His bond was set at $1 million and attorneys are scheduled to discuss the case on December 27th.

Police were looking for Valenciana after the body of 41-year-old Brent Boone was found in Sumner County.  Boone was reported missing in late November.  He was last seen at his home, leaving in a car with two other people.   Investigators believe that an altercation took place inside the car and Boone was killed.   His body was found in a rural area south of Clearwater.  The car was found abandoned on December 1st near 21st and Ridge Road.

Police found a crime scene in the 9300 block of South Pattie in Haysville.   19-year-old Tehya Turner of Haysville was arrested later and charged with first degree murder.
