Kansas corrections officials and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are looking into the death of an inmate at the El Dorado Correctional Facility.
Prison officials said 42-year-old Lawrence DeLeon died unexpectedly on Friday, and an autopsy was ordered. DeLeon was serving a 188-month sentence on Ford County convictions of aggravated robbery and criminal possession of a firearm.
No other information has been released on DeLeon’s death.
