Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a south Wichita neighborhood.
Police were called to a report of a man down in the 1800 block of South Southeast Boulevard around 2:30 Monday afternoon. A railroad worker called 911 and said a man was lying face down near the train tracks.
Officers found a man who was later identified as 22-year-old Daniel Studebaker. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Studebaker had been reported missing a few hours earlier. There’s no word on the cause of death.
