Wichita State University has fired men’s basketball coach Isaac Brown after three seasons.
WSU Athletic Director Kevin Saal announced Saturday that the school decided to make a change in coaching leadership. He said a national search will be conducted for a new coach, but no timeline was announced.
Brown took over the Shocker basketball program in 2020 after the resignation of Gregg Marshall. Brown led the Shockers to a regular season championship with a 16-7 record and a spot in the NCAA tournament, but his team struggled the next year with a 15-13 record and then finished 17-15 this season.
