Wichita police arrested six people and seized sizable amounts of narcotics after serving a search warrant early Friday at a south side home.
A SWAT team was sent to the 6000 block of South Hydraulic around 5:30 a.m. after the Patrol South Community Response Team got word of methamphetamine distribution from a home.
Officers seized nine pounds of methamphetamines, 300 grams of cocaine, two ounces of marijuana, four handguns, seven rifles, and over $68,000 in cash.
Police arrested three men, ages 61, 58 and 44, and three women ages 35, 53 and 23. They are facing charges on distribution of methamphetamines and cocaine, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and other charges.
