A man was injured Saturday morning during a stabbing in northeast Wichita.
The incident happened around 6:45 a.m. near Volutsia and 15th St. A 20-year-old man was reportedly stabbed by his 17-year-old brother after an argument that escalated to a fight.
The teen brother was taken into custody and booked into jail for aggravated battery. The injured was taken to a hospital in critical condition, having suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest, back and arm. He was in critical but stable condition after undergoing surgery.
Information will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office for the filing of charges.
