Police are investigating after 68-year-old Lori Lyman was found unconscious in a roadway at a northeast Wichita intersection.
Lyman was found around 2:19 Tuesday morning near 13th and Webb Road. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition with injuries to her head and legs, and was later pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
Exactly what happened to Lyman is not clear. Anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious, or knows about a car with damage related to this incident is as asked to call police at 268-4407 or 911. Detectives would also like to speak with anyone who has had recent contact with Lyman.
