A Wichita man has been charged with first degree murder in connection with a fatal stabbing at a north side home.
A judge set bond at $250,000 for 35-year-old Antonio Jones, who is also charged with aggravated robbery.
Jones was arrested after police found the body of 66-year-old Brenda McNeely at a home in the 2300 block of North Chautauqua. Officers were called to the home on the afternoon of October 6th to check on McNeely’s welfare. McNeely was found with a stab wound and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said a disturbance between Jones and McNeely led to the stabbing.
