UPDATE: Police have identified the victim of a hit-and-run incident as 31-year-old Pedro Bautista of Wichita.
Officers were called to the intersection of 13th and Mosely around 10:30 Friday night on a report of an assault, and they found Bautista lying on the sidewalk. Despite medical treatment from fire and EMS crews, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation found that Bautista had been hit by a vehicle that left the scene. Police have found that vehicle and they are still investigating.
