A 47-year-old man is in serious condition after a shooting late Tuesday night.
It happened around 11:20 p.m. near 17th and North Poplar. When police arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound to his chest.
He was transported to the hospital in serious condition but his injuries are not life-threatening. The man reported he was walking in the area when someone fired multiple shots at him, with one of them striking.
Police have not made any arrests. They are asking anyone with information to contact detectives at 268-4407.
