The Wichita Bomb Squad was called out to a west Wichita neighborhood Saturday morning for a suspicious device.
Officers responded to a home near Central and Dougherty when the device was located.
As a precaution, the WPD Bomb Squad collected the device and are investigating to determine if it was an explosive. There were no injuries.
