UPDATE: The Kansas Highway Patrol has identified the victims of Sunday’s crash on the Kansas Turnpike.
33-year-old David Josue of Kansas City, Missouri was riding in a minivan on the turnpike around 7:50 p.m. A car went off the 13th Street bridge, went down a ravine and hit a drainage culvert, then became airborne, landing on the minivan.
The driver of the minivan, Neftali Gonzalez Hernandez Rosendo of Kansas City, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the car, 28-year-old Scott Landon of Wichita was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers are still investigating the crash.

One person died and two others were seriously hurt after their vehicle drove off a bridge and landed on a minivan on the Kansas Turnpike at Andover.
The crash was reported around 7:50 Sunday evening. The Kansas Highway Patrol said an eastbound car went off the 13th Street bridge and crashed into a minivan on the Turnpike. A person in the car and the driver of the minivan had serious injuries. A passenger in the minivan was killed.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and no names have been released.
Traffic was blocked in both directions on the turnpike for several hours after the crash.
