The City of Wichita Park and Recreation Department has been hosting official ribbon cutting ceremonies for renovated pools and splash pads. Council members and guest speakers will be in attendance to dedicate the new aquatic facilities.

The Boston Park and Edgemoor Park splash pads held ceremonies on Friday, May 28th, and the remaining ceremonies are as follows.

• June 4th at 1 pm — Aley Park Pool, 1800 S. Seneca
• June 5th at 12 pm — McAfee Pool at McAdams Park, 1300 E. 16th St. S.
• June 5th at 1 pm — Orchard Park Pool, 1062 N. Clara
• June 11th at 1 pm — Minisa Park Pool, 1350 N. Jeanette
• June 11th at 2 pm — Evergreen Park Splash Pad, 2700 N. Woodland Ave.
• June 12th at 1 pm — Harvest Park Pool, 9500 W. Provincial
