A two-alarm fire at a South Wichita apartment complex Monday morning has displaced several residents.
The fire happened at The Shores apartments in the 2800 block of South Emporia.
The fire reportedly started around 8 a.m. on the second floor and made its way to the third floor and attic. The building was evacuated, with some residents being treated for injuries and smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross was called to assist residents and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
