The Evergreen Branch Library will be closing Friday in preparation for the new Evergreen Community Center.

At the end of the day on January 28, the branch will close down, allowing crews to move materials and equipment. While this branch is closed, community members can use any Wichita Public Library location. The closest options are:

· Advanced Learning Library, 711 W. 2nd St.

· Maya Angelou Northeast Branch, 3051 E. 21st St.

If you need to make a return, you can use the outside book-drop on the west side of the Evergreen Community Center starting Monday, January 31.

The Evergreen Community Center and Library plans to have its soft opening on February 14. More details can be found at wichitalibrary.org.
