A Wichita man is behind bars after he allegedly raped a young girl earlier this week. Local police say 20-year-old Angel Salcido was taken into custody early Wednesday evening. H
e reportedly was charged with three counts of rape of a child under 14 and a single count of criminal sodomy.
Police say the alleged victim was taken to WPD’s Exploited and Missing Child Unit following reports that she had been staying at Salcido’s home.
