Authorities are saying at least one person has died following a major multi-vehicle crash in Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said that I-35 in north central Oklahoma had to be closed after the incident, which involved several semis, RV’s, and passenger cars.
The crash was reported around 4 p.m. on the Interstate near mile marker 203. That’s near the community of Billings in Noble County.
There is no word yet on any additional injuries.
Authorities said that a grass fire was burning in the area which reduced visibility and ultimately led to the crash as vehicles drove through the smoke.
