One person was killed and another was seriously in a crash in south Wichita.
Crews were called to 55th Street South and K-15 shortly after 7 a.m., and found a pickup had ended up in the ditch after the crash.
Sedgwick County deputies said a Chevy Silverado pickup was going west on 55th and crossing K-15 when it collided with a 2013 Subaru SUV.
The 57-year-old driver of the pickup was dead at the scene. The 30-year-old man driving the SUV was taken to a hospital, and deputies said his injuries were not life-threatening .
The names of the drivers have not been released but deputies said they are from the Wichita area. The crash is still under investigation
K-15 was closed after the crash and it was reopened to traffic around 11 a.m.
