A Maize man has been charged in connection with the shooting deaths of two people in a parking garage in Wichita’s Old Town entertainment district.
19-year-old Zachary Ramirez made his first appearance in court Tuesday on two counts of first degree murder, battery, aggravated battery and criminal discharge of a firearm.
Ramirez is charged in the July 28th shooting deaths of 21-year-old Bryan Lara-Hernandez and 20-year-old Josephina Lerma-Dominguez. They were found inside a car by a street sweeping worker in the parking garage at Old Town Square.
Ramirez is still in jail on a bond of $2 million and his next court appearance was scheduled for August 14th.
